Plain Language Recommendations

A descriptive text transcript must be provided for non-live, web-based video-only (e.g., video that has no audio track).

Notes

  1. This standard IS NOT required for media alternatives.
  2. This standard IS required for public-facing materials.
  3. Descriptive audio is an option listed in WCAG 2.0, but text alternative is a better choice for our purposes.
