Plain Language Recommendations

The purpose of each link (or form image button or image map hotspot) must be able to be determined from the link text alone. Where possible, the link text must be equivalent to the title of the page being linked to.

Examples

  1. Bad example: The Louvre is an excellent museum: click here.
  2. Good example: The Louvre is an excellent museum.
